Exam Pattern
The CSIR-NAL Recruitment 2025 examination consists of the following sections:
- Mode of Exam: OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for candidates eligible for scribe)
- Total Marks: 200
- Junior Secretariat Assistant:
- Paper I (Qualifying): Mental Ability Test (100 marks, 90 minutes, covering General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgment).
- Paper II: General Awareness (50 marks) and English Language (50 marks), 100 questions, 1 hour.
- Typing Test: Qualifying (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi).
- Junior Stenographer:
